Have you decided that it is your fate in life to remain alone? Are you having a hard time dating and instead try to convince yourself and others that you would really rather stay alone? You might even tell yourself: “Well it is probably for the best.” There are hundreds of excuses that people give, as to why they just can’t go out on a date.  They tend to say things like: “I have a German background, so I am a very private person which no one will understand.” or how about, I have read every relationship book there is, but I still can’t get a date” or how about, “I’m just too old to get a date.”

It’s time to face facts! All of these are just excuses and nothing more. everyone can date, and there is actually something that you can do about it and staying home alone is not the answer to your problems. The answer is sitting right there in your computer all you have to do is look into online dating and you will have more dates than you know what to do with. Most people that are in this situation have not even thought of looking into internet dating and fear that it is too intrusive, or that they won’t even be able to get anyone interested this way. But what they don’t realize is that there are 1000’s of members on these sites, and as your mother always told you. “There is someone out there for everyone.”

The first thing you have to do when you face dating is get rid of all the ‘fear’. Dating is not like it was ten years ago, or even five years ago when you went out with some stranger. Now it’s like getting together with a friend, someone you know and seeing if their is romance there too.

Because when you join an online dating site, you feel more relaxed and can get to know people in a friendly setting, even before going out on a first date. You don’t have to worry about rejection, because you don’t sit in front of a person face to face, but instead chat with people through email and Chat features of the online dating site.  You go slower and then once you get to know a person then you can decide whether you want to go out on an actual date or not. So when you do actually go out on a date, you actually know quite a bit about the other person, and he or she, is no longer a complete stranger.

To be successful at dating you need to meet lots of people and really the only way to do that, without being in high school or college is through an online dating site. So the more dates you have and the more people you meet the higher your success rate at the ‘game’ called dating will be.
