There are also some disadvantages for couples with men dating older women, especially if there’s a large age gap. First of all, it’s unusual so people will talk about you behind your back. Whether they’re jealous or just mean, it’ll still hurt sometimes. They’ll say your relationship won’t last and that it doesn’t have a chance. Some specific disadvantages for these relationships include:

• Expectations: People don’t take the relationship seriously, even if you tie the knot

There are a lot of good things about younger men dating older women. It makes the women in the relationship feel confident and sexy and it makes the men feel like they’ve really lucked out. But it’s not all a bed of roses. It can be hard to make others take the relationship seriously. But if you’re dating older and it works for you, there shouldn’t be a problem.
